4. Gorilla Trekking Permits:
- Permits for gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park can be purchased at the Tourism Headquarters in Kigali or at offices near the park.
5. Packing Essentials:
- Don’t forget to pack a windbreaker or light raincoat for gorilla tracking in the rainforest.
- Consider bringing a torch for adventure activities, as the voltage is 220 in Rwanda.
6. Swimming:
- If you enjoy swimming, bring your swimming costume. Many hotels in Kigali have swimming pools, and swimming in Lake Kivu is also popular (follow the guide’s advice).
